Warning Children

Warning to all the children of New York. Reports are coming in that dodge ball and Tag may lead to injuries if you don't watch out. According to reports in Albany health officials was deeming these activities as dangerous to young children. For right now it is not being past due to the protests of parents. Summer is just around the corner and if these regulations passed  it would the summer more boring.

In my opinion this just not makes sense in any form or fashion. In one hand you got the health officials saying that we need our children to get out and exercise and then at the same time limiting certain activities. I'm only going to say this once and that is we are becoming a nanny state. Our government is getting way to involved within our lives. Our founders would roll in their graves if they heard this. But on the other hand, the government tells us don't worry about the $14.3 trillion in debt. Our government needs to get on the right side of the tracks.

A Thing Of The Past

Remember the good old incandescent light bulb everybody uses? Well that might become a thing of the past with new evolving technology around the bend. Some Republicans from the our nation's capitol makes sure that does not happen. They want to get get rid of Energy Independence & Security Act of 2007. The bill signed under former President George W. Bush, which states that one hundred incandescent light bulbs to be thirty percent more energy efficient by January 2012.

That makes the manufactures higher production prices which is not good for the everyday consumer. Consumers are especially ill because a regular bulb cost about sixty cents. Now with the Fluorescent Light bulbs, they will cost $3.40. But with high cost comes with a positive note, which is the new light bulbs can last up to ten times longer than the average light bulb.

In my opinion, this is just outrageousProxy-Connection: keep-alive
Cache-Control: max-age=0

It seems like everyday that Washington D.C. is becoming more of a nanny state. The government should not be telling what light bulbs we can carry, no matter how high our electrical bill gets. That is the whole purpose of this whole bill, which is saving energy and money. Fluorescent bulbs are too bright, I can't stand them. Let us have a choice of what bulb we can buy in this country.

Nothing New In Christianity

The biggest religion in this world is Christianity. Christianity has over a thousand denominations across the globe. With those thousands of denominations including non-denominational who is right? There is a new pastor that thinks he has the answers in his new book, which he believes will change the world. This man from Michigan has gained so much attention, even the main stream media can not get his eyes off him.

His name is Rob Bell and he has gained plenty of attention through his new book: "Love Wins: A Book About Heaven, Hell, and the Fate of Every Person Who Ever Lived. His book describes of what he thinks on Heaven and Hell and the answer is: No Hell. The book helps understand why there is so much suffering in this world. Plenty of people from the other aisle thinks he is a false prophet and taking his followers down the wrong path. He believes that everybody is going to heaven instead of believing it vice-versa.

In my opinion, he is teaching the wrong message. I don't believe that everybody will go to hell, I believe a vast majority of humans will go to heaven, while a few does not. The Bible says there is a hell and its there for the wiked and those that hate God with a passion. Rob Bell is not the first man to preach this word, some relatives from way back went to a church that did not believe in Hell. For me, I believe there is a heaven and a hell. It may be controversy but it is freedom of religion and speech.

Soaring Gas Prices

In 2008 gas prices were at their highest pushing five dollars a gallon. When Bush left office, the American citizens were excited to see that gas was down to 1.99 and lower. But now with all the unrest in the Middle East, especially with Libya, gas is sky rocketing. Prices in the state of Alabama is pushing 3.50 a gallon. In California it is over four dollars a gallon.

Reports are coming in that prices for a barrel is 107 dollars a gallon. The unrest in The Middle East is making an oil shortage. Libya is the third largest oil producer on the planet and if nobody gets nothing done over there, prices will skyrocket. Some are predicting that if Saudi Arabia goes, it will cripple the global economic recovery. Saudi Arabia is the world's largest oil producer.

My opinion is that I find major problems with this situation. My problem is that when gas started to rise, the media was dead silent about it. There was no bashing like you saw when Bush was in office. Weeks go by and still no report from the major media outlets, thinking like the Obama Administration is not responsible. Now the media is coming out reporting, and this what don't make any sense: they report about it but there is  no negative feedback. CNN and MSNBC keep preaching about alternative energy since gas prices are going up like its good news. I remember a clip from youtube of Obama saying in 2008 that energy prices will skyrocket under my plan in quote. Don't worry, the media is not going to report that.

The Future Is Here

Remember when you watch a spy movie, especially James Bond, we would see all this nice equipment to spy on people. That has now become a reality with new technological spyware against our foriegn enemy. A company in Southern California called " AeroVironment" has created this new technology to spy on people and they won;t even know it. This new technology is in the shape of a Hummingbird. And it's also called "The Nano- Hummingbird".

The Nano-Hummingbird can do anything that the military cannot reach or see. This new piece of technology has high definition sound and can take multiple pictures. The troops are very positive about this because it can go anywhere that man cannot go. It can also locate people in destroyed building such as what happened in Haiti. The Nano-Hummingbird can last for about a week before recharching and can reach altitudes of fifty-five to sixty-five thousand feet in the air.

In my opinion this is great for the military. The military needs this type of technology to spy on our enemies before they make an attack. On the other hand, if it fell into the wrong hands, that would be terrible. I just hope that our government does not take advantage of it to spy on the American people. On the positve note, this is a great day for the military for having The Nano-Hummingbird.

Nothing New From Washington

Politicians amuse me so much. Especially President Obama, anything that The President does is not going to shock me. It was announced today in Washington that the Obama Administration is dropping The Federal Marriage Act. The Act defines that a marriage is between a man and a woman.  The Obama administration is deeming it as unconstitutional because it bars the freedom of same sex marriage.

I find this a major problem because their not doing the legislative process like its supposed to. They say it is unconstitutional but their doing the same thing. They know if they leave to the legislative process, mainly Republicans, it won't be repealed. More than likely, it won't go through much process and that it will go to the President's desk to repeal the Act. In my opinion, this is not a good sign for what they are doing.

The problem is that if the states want to accept gay marriage, let them have it. The last time I checked, it was left up to the states to make these kind of decisions. With President Obama doing this, he is just going to legalize same sex marriage nationally. The churches that is also incorparated...Watch Out!! Because when it becomes legally nationally your church will have to teach a new doctrine and to accept gays into your church. Im not a homophobic, this is just pure facts.

Riots Spreading In The Middle East

Last week was a historic week for Egyptians. President Mubarak has stepped down from power to prevent another massive riot in Egypt. Last Thursday, President Mubarak announced that he would not step down until the September elections. The problem with that was the protesters would probably killed him. The next day, the protesters were shouting for joy for the end of the thirty year reign of their President.

Around the world, people were watching and inspired by the revolution Egypt had. News reports say that Iran is on the move for their own riots as well. Hundreds of riot police took the streets against the reporters. The riot police has shot tear gas against the thousands of rioters in Iran. Reports say that twenty to thirty thousand protesters were in the streets of different cities in Iran.

My opinion is that nothing is getting done over there and it's just making matters worse. The mainstream media just praises of what happened in Egypt, but were clueless of whats going to happen next in Egypt. The military is only there temporarily and the only well organized group is The Muslim Brotherhood. The Middle East is being influenced by this and thats a fact because we are seeing Iran doing the same thing. You give it a couple of months or a year and you will see Europe having massive riots. The main question is that are we seeing an American Revolution or a French Revolution?

Repealing Health Care

Ever since the health care has became law, rumors have been floating that repealing will be the best for America. Back in March 2010, when people were filing suits against the law, people from the left thought it was a Tea-Party Stunt. Just a couple of weeks ago a federal judge from Florida saw the bill as unconstitutional and must be repealed. Worries from the left now is that this is a spark that will lead to the Supreme Court.

This will probably all come down to Anthony Kennedy of The Supreme Court to decide if the the bill is unconstitutional. Anthony Kennedy's decision will be from a sophisticated analysis on one subject: The Individual Mandate. The Individual Mandate is the main recipe if the bill is law or not. About two weeks ago, The House(controlled by Republicans) won a successful vote of repealing the new health care law. Now we are just waiting for the results from the Senate.

My opinion on this is that it needs to be repealed. This is not the first time the government has made big bills come into law(Social Security,Medicare,New Deal). The problem I have is that when before it was made into law, Nancy Pelosi made a speech to the American People. She said that we need to pass the law first and then we will find out how great it is. The problem with that is, you go to an auto-dealer and he/she persuades you to buy the vehicle before you test it. Your on the road and you just realized that the engine is badly in shape and the dealer sold you a lemon. That is what our leaders did: They sold a lemon to the American public.

Stepping down from power

President Mubarak has been President for thirty years and thirty years is long enough. President Mubarak has outlasted Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr., Bill Clinton, George Bush Jr., except Barack Obama. It has been announced today that the President of Egypt will stepping down from office in the coming fall, probably around September. President Mubarak had already told his cabinet last week to step down so he can bring in a new government for the people of Egypt. President Mubarak has also met with the President of the United States today and President Obama urged him not to run for another term.

My opinion is that people think this is the first time the citizens of Egypt has made a major riot. The last time Egypt got in a big riot was back in 1970s. It is true that this riot going on Egypt is the most astonishing in present day times. News reports have said that up to 250,000 people were in the streets rioting and that is massive. I have also been doing some research and that this riots going on in Egypt is but a de ja vu from what happened in Iran in the 1970s. Before I get into Iran is that what happens if the President steps down in September and were no longer their ally?

Iran was having the same trouble back in the 1970s over authoritarian rule of their President. Back then Iran was one of our biggest allies in the world and their were throwing riots to bring in a new government. After the rioting settled a new President and a new government was brought to the country of Iran which led to the Muslim State of Iran. Why I say this is that their is a group of Muslim organizations that is promiting this riots going on in Egypt. In the United States we are seeing Communist and Socialist organizations promoting Egypt and Tunisia as well. They see this as a perfect chance because Karl Marx once said: "Democracy is the road to Socialism."

Dramatic video as thousands clash with Egypt riot police in Cairo

A New Beginning

Last week a major riot was breaking out in Egypt. The riots began when the people of Egypt bacame furious with the authoritarian rule of their President. The President of Egypt has been in office for over thirty years and not giving up his rule. Since last friday, it was announced that The President of Egypt will stay in office but he will let his Cabinet resign so The President can bring in a new Government. The major importance of the riots in Egypt was that technology played a major role such as Twitter, Facebook, and cell-phones. Since fear from The President of Egypt, he has told the government to regulate The Internet, because of a major crisis in Egypt.

State of the Union

The media outlets around the country are going to be focused on the President of the United States tonight. Barack Obama will be giving his State of the Union address about major issues concerning the citizens of the United States. With high unemployment and with gun issues revolving around the massacre in Arizona, there is alot of business to be done at our nation's capitol tonight. Since the beginning of this country, Republicans have set on one side of the aisle and Democrats on the other. But tonight let's just say that the two major political parties will be having a strange relationship.
This is supposed to be the first time that the Republicans and Democrats are to be sitting together at the State of the Union address. The politicians at Washington say this is supposed to be a bipartisan relationship among the two parties. Conservatives on the other hand are not pleased about this at all. Some conservatives see this as a way to silence their oppostion about Obama's policies because of the Democrats sitting by them. I may not agree with everything the Republicans say, but I do agree that there is no need to change traditions because of bipartisanship.
What I read in the New York Times that Rep. Michelle Bachmann will be giving a speech at the State of the Union adress. Rep. Bachmann will be giving an opposition speech about Obama's. She will be giving a speech about fiscal discipline which is a major objective in the Tea Party movement. Reports say that she might also speek about the successful repeal of the health care bill at the House. Rep. Bachmann also said she will do anything to dismantle the massive government programs.
My opinion is that I agree with the Republicans about their opposition about the bipartisan relationship at the State of the Union. I also agree that you always need a different opinion at the State of the Union address. Of course there is always an opposition especially about Rep. Bachmann speaking tonight. I believe in the First Amendment which protects freedom of speech especially for Michelle Bachmann.
